Native speaker and certified teacher of Russian language and Literature. Great experience in theory and practices of intercultural communication. Working knowledge of non-traditional (interactive) methods and  personal creative capacity.    

15 years experience in Russian Language as a Foreign Language. Last place of employment NCSU, 2014-2015, summer courses «Russian for beginners».

Awards: Honorar Diploma of Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia for training students for the participation in Russian Language Olympiad (2004. 2d place).

Elena MacManaman 

Yelena is an author and developmental editor of books and courses about advanced math for young children. naturalmath.com/moebius-noodles  Her best-selling book Moebius Noodles: Adventurous Math for the Playground Crowd, has been featured in The Atlantic, Scientific American, Mind/Shift, Boing Boing, and Geek Mom. She homeschools her son and organizes local STEM classes and events for kids.

Ryan Chan

Ryan Chan possesses the unique features required to be an instructor of such a special class as ''Strategies and games”. As a youngster, Ryan has had an insatiable interest in problem solving, strategy and puzzles. He accredits his achievements and high marks in academics to this (received an academic score of 2230 out of 2400 on the SAT, and a 34 out of 36 on the ACT. He holds medals at both the regional and state competition levels on the varsity Science Olympiad). As a result of his efforts, he was accepted as a student to the college of his dreams; The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

As a young man, he is an excellent example for kids regarding how to achieve their goals. He is an avid chess enthusiast and excels at teaching chess. He can solve the Rubik's cube in a minute, and knows all popular strategies at a high level. He is really excited to share all this with children and is always eager to share with them how to accomplish solving problems in the most efficient and effective ways.

Diana Medlin

Diana is a graduate of Ceramic arts school (Ukraine). She has an interest in many different arts and craft projects. She loves creating original creations and enjoys teaching young people the beauty of handmade artistry. She posseses18 years of sewing and alteration experience and has a natural gift for drawing and painting. She has been an instructor of many different projects that include cross-stitch, sewing, card making and knitting. For the past 4 years she has been a teacher of painting with oils and acrylics on a variety of surfaces which include paper, wood, canvases and walls.
